Job details

The 2001 Volvo C70 with its 2.0 (120kw) engine is a car with character. If you want this engine to last long and run reliably, regular servicing with the right materials is a must. At GT Garage we carried out a full service on this car, choosing components that keep the engine clean and protected.

Materials used: no compromises

We believe even older cars deserve quality spare parts. For this service we chose:

  • Engine oil: Liqui Moly 5w40 Leichtlauf. A top-class oil particularly well suited to petrol engines, providing easy starts and protection against wear.
  • Filters: We used filters from the German brand Mahle (air, fuel, cabin), which deliver filtration quality matching the original equipment.

List of work carried out

As part of the service, all systems were fully checked and the following work was done:

  1. Engine oil and filter change, for fresh “lifeblood”.
  2. Air filter change, so the engine can breathe freely.
  3. Fuel filter change, to protect the injection system from dirt.
  4. Cabin air filter change, for clean air and good visibility (less window fogging) for the driver.

Transparent costs

Many customers ask about costs. This is a great example:

  • Total cost (labour + all materials): from €265.

It’s an investment that not only extends the life of the engine but also makes sure the car won’t let you down when it matters.

Quality parts are worth it on an older car too. They extend engine life and protect against unexpected breakdowns.
