How to know and understand that something is wrong with the car’s brake system?
Explained in simple language, a car has 4 wheels, each of these wheels has brakes – brake disc and brake pads. When you press the brake pedal in the cabin, the brake pads are pressed against the brake disc and the car starts to slow down, depending on the force with which the pedal is pressed.

Brake repair

The most common problem occurs in the brake pads. Brake pads are the part that wears out the fastest, because they are in direct friction with the brake disc, which is made of metal. Brake pad wear can be noticed in several ways. On newer cars, there are sensors near the brake system that provide information to the car’s control unit, and the corresponding symbol lights up on the car panel, which indicates that it is time to change the brake pads or another problem has occurred. If the car does not have such sensors or had them, but as a result of the ravages of time, they tend to go out of order and do not work. If this happens, you can rely on the feel and sound of braking. If the brake pads are worn, the car may begin to brake worse, the brake pedal must be pressed harder and the possibility of hearing metallic rubbing sounds. If you hear a metallic sound even when you don’t press the brake pedal, but just drive, then you should definitely go to the service center to diagnose the brake system.

In addition to brake pad wear, there are a number of other problems that can occur in the braking system. If you suspect that something is wrong and the car can no longer brake smoothly without vibrations or strange sounds, then definitely go to the service center.
